Policies & Procedures
Why policies and procedures?
Consistency, transparency, accountability and quality management.
All organisations should have policies and procedures that guide how decisions are made and how there work is done. Well written policies and procedures increase organisational accountability and transparency, they are fundamental to
quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
Policies and procedures guide the decisions and determining how people who interact with the organisation are treated. Policies and procedures are subject to regular organisational review and and set out the accountability processes.
Mayday Homecare has a complete set of written policies and procedures available to anyone in all of our offices, before deciding on which care agency your going to use ensure that their policies and procedures are documented, if verbally transmitted it can lead to unacceptably different approaches which make the organisation inconsistent and inefficient.
